So many of my family and friends are dealing with this wonderful season called winter. Schools are closing down daily, snow is coming down making it either too hard to get out on the road or too dangerous to get out. As you all know by now, I am missing most of the winter weather. I am not bragging when I say that where I am it is close to 90 degrees every day.
Believe it or not I do miss the winter season. Yes the snow and the ice. There is so many reasons I could list on why I miss it. I think it is more of the things it inspires me to do to make myself comfortable. It is the feeling.
This has inspired me to tell you my top 5 favorite reasons I love the season.
REASON #1
Drinking Hot Chocolate. What is more comfortable then sitting with a blanket around your shoulders, watching your favorite show and sipping on a nice warm cup of delicious chocolate.
Reason #2
Staying in. Sometimes the with the hustle and bustle of everyday life we are thrown out on the road and we don’t just take a day to relax. In the winter weather sometimes we are forced to stay inside and just enjoy.
Reason #3
The beauty. I love the way it looks! To see all the winter white and the beautiful icicles hanging down from the porch roof. The snowflakes coming down and not one the same.
Reason #4
The fireplace. How can it get any better then listening to the crackling sound of the firewood while reading your favorite book.
